Fynerce ("we", "us", "our") operates the marketing website at fynerce.com and the trading application at app.fynerce.com. Fynerce is a market intelligence platform providing forex signal analysis, currency strength data, and related financial information tools.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account registration: your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Payment information: billing name, country, and payment details processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number.
• Profile preferences: your preferred currency pairs, trading session, lot size defaults, and notification settings.
• Trade ledger data: trade logs you enter manually, including pairs, entry/exit prices, outcomes, and notes.
• Communications: messages you send via the contact form or support email.
• Waitlist signups: your email address if you join the early access waitlist.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps.
• Device information: device type, screen resolution, and browser version.
• Usage data: features accessed, signal views, chart interactions, and session duration.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7 for full details.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Google OAuth: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
• Stripe: payment confirmation, subscription status, and billing period information.
• Market data APIs: Twelve Data, Alpha Vantage, CoinGecko, and FRED are used to provide market information.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 To Provide the Service

• Creating and managing your account.
• Processing subscription payments and managing your tier (Free Trial, Basic, Pro).
• Displaying personalised signals, charts, and market data based on your preferences.
• Storing your trade ledger and computing performance analytics.
• Operating the AI assistant with relevant market and account context.

3.2 To Improve the Service

• Analysing usage patterns to improve platform features and performance.
• Identifying and fixing technical issues.
• Conducting internal research to develop new features.

3.3 To Communicate with You

• Sending transactional emails: account confirmation, password resets, subscription receipts.
• Sending service updates: changes to the platform, pricing, or these policies.
• Sending marketing emails only with your consent. You may unsubscribe at any time.
• Responding to your support enquiries.

3.4 Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the EEA and United Kingdom, we process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract: processing necessary to provide the service you have subscribed to.
• Legitimate interests: improving our service, preventing fraud, and ensuring platform security.
• Consent: sending marketing communications and placing non-essential cookies.
• Legal obligation: complying with applicable laws, regulations, and court orders.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

• Supabase: provides authentication and our PostgreSQL database.
• Stripe: processes all subscription payments. Subject to Stripe's own Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic: powers the AI Assistant. Only trading context is sent — not personal account data.
• Railway / Vercel: host our backend and frontend infrastructure respectively.
• Email marketing: if you join our waitlist, your email may be stored with our email marketing provider.
• Google Analytics: if enabled, collects anonymised usage data on the marketing website.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

4.3 Business Transfers

If Fynerce is involved in a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is subject to a materially different privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: retained for the life of your account, plus 12 months after deletion.
• Trade ledger data: retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion upon request.
• Payment records: retained for 7 years to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements.
• Server logs: retained for 90 days.
• Marketing: retained until you unsubscribe, after which your email is moved to a suppression list.

6. Your Rights

• Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations.
• Right to restrict processing: request that we limit how we use your data.
• Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
• Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
• Right to complain: lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

• Essential cookies: required for the platform to function. Cannot be disabled.
• Preference cookies: remember your settings such as theme, timezone, and watchlist.
• Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (where enabled) tracks anonymised usage on the marketing site.
• Marketing cookies: only set if you consent via the cookie banner.

You can manage cookies through the cookie consent banner or your browser settings.

8. Data Security

• All data in transit encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
• Database encryption at rest via Supabase's managed infrastructure.
• Row-Level Security on the database so each user can only access their own data.
• Passwords hashed via Supabase Auth — we never store plain-text passwords.
• API keys stored as encrypted environment variables, never in source code.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Fynerce uses infrastructure providers that may store or process data outside your country. Where we transfer data outside the EEA or UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Children's Privacy

Fynerce is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us at legal@fynerce.com and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of material changes by email or by notice in the application at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
